<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Hi everyone, </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I hope your all having a good week. Tomorrow is my friends daughters sixth birthday and I wanted to make her a special card.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The Festive Birthday designer series paper is so much fun! The sombreros and pinatas are just adorable and the bright colours make it perfect for a summer birthday. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrHxHBkBvahLMyRZlX9st3FdqeS1ox-e8IWKFXG3H6gWTvYh_1CBjbXyeDuvnyMJmjaCIKxzw6Ahj1DphCdSDXKWlbTeQTX0jVm3vywzjTLqC-_1lMrA73_fh0ijr511oI4YGug7A3mGA/s1600/20160904_102527.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrHxHBkBvahLMyRZlX9st3FdqeS1ox-e8IWKFXG3H6gWTvYh_1CBjbXyeDuvnyMJmjaCIKxzw6Ahj1DphCdSDXKWlbTeQTX0jVm3vywzjTLqC-_1lMrA73_fh0ijr511oI4YGug7A3mGA/s640/20160904_102527.jpg" width="558" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I used a Crushed Curry card base cut at 5 3/4" by 8 1/4", scored and folded at 4 1/8". The designer series paper is cut to 5 1/2" by 3 7/8" with the oval cut out using the largest straight edge oval from the Oval Layering framelit dies.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The new foam strips make shaker cards so easy, I used one strip around the oval and two strips around the edge of the designer series paper. This gives a professional finish when you look at the card from the side. I used silver sequins for a touch of sparkle. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The number 6 is die cut using the Large Number framelit dies and colored in with the Wink of Stella for added glam. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The sentiment and banner are from the Banners For You stamp set and the banner is die cut from the Bunch of Banners framelit dies. These can be bought as a bundle saving you 10%. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I hope my friends daughter loves this card as much as I do.</span><br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJstJITJm_dReKs8HGyG-RE7HZIvSOsj-JLrjyPwiHeEMwtJnDMydyibAe_Dl27QR4F7LMNrlow0TlfF0XePkRXIZho7EF3-rZMCrL13xMSibK2b_XTjJo6_Rw6qfdiGrDdDbeXVwYm-U/s1600/20160702_145418.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJstJITJm_dReKs8HGyG-RE7HZIvSOsj-JLrjyPwiHeEMwtJnDMydyibAe_Dl27QR4F7LMNrlow0TlfF0XePkRXIZho7EF3-rZMCrL13xMSibK2b_XTjJo6_Rw6qfdiGrDdDbeXVwYm-U/s640/20160702_145418.jpg" width="360" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">A friend asked me to make a card for her five year old daughter from the tooth fairy and I immediately thought of this stamp set, its perfect!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I stamped the image in black onto some watercolour paper cut at 3 7/8" square then used watercolour pencils to colour her in. I absolutely love it!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I used Melon Mambo card stock cut to 11 1/2" by 4 1/8" and scored at 5 3/4" as her favorite colour is pink and added a little sentiment using the Banners For You stamp set and Bunch of Banners framelits.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I love the idea of watercolouring in images and am definitely going to try this with other stamp sets.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Hope you've had a lovely weekend.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Well it's been a while... I have been so busy with work I haven't had much free time to blog but I am back at this week. </span><br>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">A friend requested a card for her sister for her sixtieth birthday and I knew the Number of Years stamp set would be perfect. With the coordinating Large Numbers thinlet die set the design possibilities are endless.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc-ir5HJ1FNHujjDCezvYRODschIBgmc6fOPvYKGO4-ip4-KW3Ow9PI6nq_HTjZvaWhNkkqMqtCpw-oG1GNL_WfEPrFP3zMGzZ2iXi2xEANHrR_mFjS8f-rHmDwpu3KDVk0s4ssDaTzV8/s1600/20160827_121919.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc-ir5HJ1FNHujjDCezvYRODschIBgmc6fOPvYKGO4-ip4-KW3Ow9PI6nq_HTjZvaWhNkkqMqtCpw-oG1GNL_WfEPrFP3zMGzZ2iXi2xEANHrR_mFjS8f-rHmDwpu3KDVk0s4ssDaTzV8/s640/20160827_121919.jpg" width="640"></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The backgrounds are made using the stamps from the set. The foliage is stamped in Mint Macaron with varying colours for the flowers. As the stamp set is photopolymer it is easy to place the flowers among the foliage.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The card on the left uses a blushing bride mat embossed with the petal burst textured impressions embossing folder. The six and zero are stamped in blushing bride and die cut using the Large Numbers Framelit dies. The blushing bride stitched satin ribbon is added to ground the card. </span><br>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The card on the right uses a Mint Macaron mat that has been stamped all over with the small dot stamp from the stamp set. The corners of the white card stock have been punched with the triple curvy corner punch which unfortunately is now retired. The six, zero and banner are stamped in Calypso Coral and again cut with the Large Number Framelit dies.</span><div><font face="Verdana, sans-serif"><br></font></div><div><font face="Verdana, sans-serif">Which one is your favourite? <br></font>

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">The Blooms and Bliss designer series paper is my absolute favorite from the new annual catalogue. The combination of Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum, Blushing Bride, Mint Macaroon and Island Indigo is just stunning. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I love shaker cards, they make fantastic birthday or congratulations cards so when I saw the idea of a double window shaker card on Pinterest I just had to give it a go. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKKCm_GNzme841rbA4e8ub8ozu8-kTcLPw4A66iFPXKkrgbCx9ODz8-w3dnB5kR5JhzLXnviR_Tf18_oIhyphenhyphenIHJRn4-elGpOJ8OVwzP-kwOJmXi-DzyMyVd8Y6RvZrDUzeJKjgw_RPrea8/s1600/20160726_205445.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKKCm_GNzme841rbA4e8ub8ozu8-kTcLPw4A66iFPXKkrgbCx9ODz8-w3dnB5kR5JhzLXnviR_Tf18_oIhyphenhyphenIHJRn4-elGpOJ8OVwzP-kwOJmXi-DzyMyVd8Y6RvZrDUzeJKjgw_RPrea8/s320/20160726_205445.jpg" width="180" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">For my first attempt I used a Sweet Sugarplum card base cut at 4" by 11" scored at 5 1/2" and a layer of the designer series paper cut at 3 7/8" by 5 3/8". I found that the papers with a closer pattern looked better than the papers with the larger designs.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I cut the window using the largest straight edge square from the layering squares framelit dies. It is much easier to cut the card base and the paper at the same time so that they line up perfectly.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">One piece of window sheet is adhered to the outside of the card base with the second piece adhered to the inside of the designer series paper. My first attempt at this I used wet glue however that was a disaster so I highly recommend using a dry glue such as snail, fast fuse or tear and tape.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">From here it is the same process as a normal shaker card. The foam adhesive strips are perfect for shaker cards! I placed a strip around each side of the window and then a layer of sequins within the border of the foam strips. Just make sure there are no gaps in the foam strip border otherwise your sequins will escape. As well as sequins I added some confetti using the sprinkles punch however as much as I love the punch I found the confetti too big to shake.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I also placed a foam strip along the bottom of the card to hold up the designer series paper. It's then just a case of lining the windows up and adhering the paper to the card base. Trust me, it's a lot easier said than done so patience is key here.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I decorated the front with three pansy's from the Flower Shop stamp set and punched out with the pansy punch. I also added a little pearl to the centre of each flower.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I was pretty happy with finished result but I just felt it was missing something. So for my second attempt I used the second largest square framelit and framed it with the largest scalloped square. It just added that little something I was looking for.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfx2ooLjstkoCZM6l3YdOyeVwtf-CqXlypyAsBi9KapukKHPIp3xtsEvs5DVVV3HMKMljHP4AgmjUMa2sd1S1Fwiyy3-X18wJKAZ0xc_Fny4aBAJJcwuoWmMx1wH3BDhBNciRk54cVVFQ/s1600/20160726_205432.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfx2ooLjstkoCZM6l3YdOyeVwtf-CqXlypyAsBi9KapukKHPIp3xtsEvs5DVVV3HMKMljHP4AgmjUMa2sd1S1Fwiyy3-X18wJKAZ0xc_Fny4aBAJJcwuoWmMx1wH3BDhBNciRk54cVVFQ/s320/20160726_205432.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I also used Rich Razzleberry card stock and added a flower using the petite petals punch to the centre of the pansy's. I'm much happier with this version. Which do you prefer?</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Hope your having a great week.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I love to make thank you cards to let people know how much I appreciate them and when I saw the Lots of Love stamp set I thought it would be perfect. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoh_6_ARj0oi_xDtiwEVuRVJENGT-s77Yip3OEQBmcdYSsS3Q_RUWmfJegWwJsx9ijqUctPupjSGRjl4__OnxEQmpGa5Q0Xuns-oFyH4BjynI9wYceUrVx-zzWKKhKkTSUnjEtU7cDzIc/s1600/20160713_183128.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoh_6_ARj0oi_xDtiwEVuRVJENGT-s77Yip3OEQBmcdYSsS3Q_RUWmfJegWwJsx9ijqUctPupjSGRjl4__OnxEQmpGa5Q0Xuns-oFyH4BjynI9wYceUrVx-zzWKKhKkTSUnjEtU7cDzIc/s640/20160713_183128.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I used a card base in Sweet Sugarplum cut at 8 1/4" by 5 3/4" scored at 4 1/8". Sticking to a monochromatic theme I stamped the gorgeous image in Sweet Sugarplum as well as the sentiment from the same stamp set.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">The new layering ovals framelits are perfect are framing sentiments. I used the smallest oval framelit and the smallest scalloped framelit layered and popped up with Stampin dimensionals.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">A few weeks ago it was my Dad's birthday and like many crafters I struggle with masculine cards. When I saw the One Wild Ride stamp set I thought it would be just perfect for so many of the men in my life. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I'm very happy with the finished result and although it is a very simple card I think it is very apt for my Dad.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I used Daper Denim card stock cut at 8 1/4" by 5 3/4" scored and folded at 4 1/8". I then used a piece if the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper cut to 3 7/8" by 5 1/2". This paper is amazing! You apply the ink colour of your choice with a sponge, I used Daper Denim, and the pattern resists the ink. I love the effect it gives, it's a softer colour with a less uniform look.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I absolutely love the sentiment, it is absolutely perfect for my Dad; 'Birthday Wishes to the Leader of the Pack'. I stamped in Daper Denim along with the Motorbike image. I love </span><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">the monochromatic look. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Have a great weekend everybody. </span><br />
