A few weeks ago it was my Dad's birthday and like many crafters I struggle with masculine cards. When I saw the One Wild Ride stamp set I thought it would be just perfect for so many of the men in my life.
I'm very happy with the finished result and although it is a very simple card I think it is very apt for my Dad.
I used Daper Denim card stock cut at 8 1/4" by 5 3/4" scored and folded at 4 1/8". I then used a piece if the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper cut to 3 7/8" by 5 1/2". This paper is amazing! You apply the ink colour of your choice with a sponge, I used Daper Denim, and the pattern resists the ink. I love the effect it gives, it's a softer colour with a less uniform look.
I absolutely love the sentiment, it is absolutely perfect for my Dad; 'Birthday Wishes to the Leader of the Pack'. I stamped in Daper Denim along with the Motorbike image. I love the monochromatic look.
